The Woodland Hills Blended Learning Academy provides an alternative to traditional schooling. We employ technology to provide an educational option for the student who needs greater flexibility in his or her schedule. This learning can happen in many differentiated settings…in the classroom, at home, on the road, or wherever an internet connection can be found.
At Woodland Hills Blended Learning Academy, we are creating a virtual classroom with a customized curriculum presented via the web and developed by our own Woodland Hills staff. Our students are able to interact with state certified teachers, administrators, and other classmates through email, telephone, weekly meetings, and quarterly progress reviews. On-site support classes are conducted every week with independent projects, discussion boards, video telecasts and web-based research assignments to complete on the days in which live classes are not held.
