Special Start Dates at JR/SR High School

The Woodland Hills Junior/Senior High School will have an adjusted start to the school year for grades 10-12.  Please review the information below:


  • Students in grades 7, 8 and 9 only will begin the 2015-2016 school year at regular start times on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. This day has been designated to provide students with a full day of orientation to the Woodland Hills Jr. Sr. High School.  It is at this time students will receive their schedules.
  • On Thursday, September 3, 2015 all students, grades 7-12 are to report to school at their regular scheduled times.

WHHS's 'Drood' earns 6 Kelly Awards

The Woodland Hills High School production of "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" brought home six Gene Kelly Awards for Excellance in high school musical theater including the coveted "Best Musical" award for a 10th time.  Woodland Hills has now garnered a record 188 nominations and 97 awards in the 25 year history of the event.

Congratulations to Woodland Hills High School on earning their second straight Bronze Medal by U.S. News & World Report.

The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 21,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Schools were awarded gold, silver, or bronze medals based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.
