Rankin Science Science at Rankin Promise

Rankin Promise science classes are doing spectacular things!
In Mr. Wiley’s classes they received a $1000 grant from Action for Healthy Kids. We will be discussing several topics: botany (photosynthesis, “what is a seed?”), genetics, digestion and nutrition. The Tower Garden is a hydroponic system, and we will be growing vegetables and fruits throughout the year.

Woodland Hills Future Business Leaders of America will be holding their fifth annual indoor Flea Market on Saturday, October 28th, 9AM- 1PM in the High School Old Gym.  We will be selling:  clothing, jewelry, household items, toys, books, baked goods, refreshments, and much more. All proceeds will benefit FBLA’s upcoming competitions. If you have any items you wish to donate, we will be accepting donations during the school day and Saturday, October 21st from 11AM- 1PM. The Woodland Hills High School offers a free preschool program through its Child Development Program.  Parents of children who are 3-5 years old and live within the Woodland Hills School District are invited to register their children.  The program is offered three days per week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, for six weeks for 2 separate sessions.

Bronze 17 WHHS Again A Bronze Medalist by U.S. News & World Report

Congratulations to Woodland Hills High School on earning their fourth straight Bronze Medal by U.S. News & World Report.

The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 21,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Schools were awarded gold, silver, or bronze medals based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college. Other local Bronze Medal schools include Gateway and Kiski Area.
