Registration Now Open for Woodland Hills Pre-K Counts Program

Woodland Hills School District is accepting registration applications for the Pre-K Counts Program for 2018-2019 school year.  This program is open to residents who live within the boundaries of Woodland Hills SD whose children are four (4) years old by September 1, 2018 AND household income is within 300% of federal poverty level.  See Chart. Registration is in-person and by appointment.  Please contact Central Registration Office at 412-731-1300 x0110 to schedule an appointment.  Central Registration office is located at the Woodland Hills Administration Center at Fairless:  531 Jones Avenue, North Braddock, PA 15104

Central Registration office hours are:   Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Students of Month: Fairness

Edgewood Students of the Month for March who exhibited fairness in and out of the classroom were rewarded with a delicious hot breakfast.  They enjoyed freshly prepared eggs, pancakes, and orange juice. Assistant Superintendent Lentz even stopped by.

eggs H.U.G.S 1st ANNUAL EGGstravaganza

The HUGS Eggstravaganza held on Sunday, March 25 was a wonderful event. WH families enjoyed many activities including an egg hunt, a hopstacle course, jellybean roulette, a duck pond, some literacy activities, face painting, an egg stacking STEAM activity, a butterfly art station, an egg toss, a baseball toss, and many rounds of jelly bean BINGO with the superintendent. The children had an eggcellent time!

Career Mrs. Sperduto's Career Project

Mrs. Sperduto's 1st grade class learned about another career. Visitors from Eat'N Park taught them about the different jobs that you can have in a restauant. Then, each child got to deocorate their own Smiley cookie. Click the link to see more.
