Hour of Code Hour of Code

The Hour of Code was a great success again this year at Edgewood.  We had 100% particiaption with all 21 homerooms from pre-k to 3rd grade.  The pre-k, kindergarten, and 1st grade students coded using Kodable on the iPads.  The 2nd and 3rd grade students coded on www.code.org with the Minecraft Adventurer.  All classes will continue to learn coding during the 3rd nine weeks.  Click the link to see some pictures of our students coding.

Bronze Logo WHHS Again A Bronze Medalist by U.S. News & World Report

Congratulations to Woodland Hills High School on earning their third straight Bronze Medal by U.S. News & World Report.

The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 21,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Schools were awarded gold, silver, or bronze medals based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.  Other local Bronze Medal schools include North Allegheny and Penn-Trafford.
