I am the RTII Behavior Interventionist for the Woodland Hills Academy servicing grades Kindergarten to Seventh. I provide behavior support services to all of the students in the Academy through developing and assisting with the implementation of a School Wide Positive Behavior Support Program. I also offer small group and individual services to support students whose behaviors may be negatively impacting their educational performance.
I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Child
Care/Child Development. I also have a Master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Special Education. The first eight years of my career were working with special needs children in the public school systems of Virginia. Once I returned to Pennsylvania, I enjoyed a position as a Behavior Specialist Consultant and Mobile Therapist for Allegheny County. My original position within the Woodland Hills School District was as a special education teacher which I greatly enjoyed. I continue to enjoy our wonderful district through this new position as an RTII Behavior Interventionist.
If I can ever be of service to you or your child, please do not hesitate to call.
