The Wolverine Rifle Team shot in the WPIAL team championships on Tuesday 12 February and posted their 13th perfect 800 score this season. The Wolverines shot an 800-57X and earned the Runner-up title.
The team was led by Junior Laura Valenti who shot a 100-9X. Also by Nick Fisher 100-8X, Miguel Breight 100-8X, Mike Krivi 100-8X, Capt Brendan Boyle 100-7X, Dave Morgan 100-6X, Sonny Breeger 100-6X, and Maria Brucker 100-5X.
The Wolverines received their section II championship plaque and Laura Valenti was named to the WPIAL All Tournament Team The performance qualifies the team to shoot for the state title at the PIAA state championship match next week.
